DTEK , which unites the power assets of Rinat Akhmetov, began mastering of new direction – Wind energy. The Donbass fuel and energy company ( DTEK ) created the enterprise of Wind Power. It will be engaged in realization of projects in the field of Wind energy, was reported the director general of DTEK Maksym Timchenko.


In 2009 year on development of Wind energy, DTEK will invest more than 20 million hryvnyas.

The future investments will be calculated by «millions dollars». Presently a company examines possibility of placing of wind power-stations on the coast of sea of Azov, in the Donetsk and Zaporozhia areas. If the declared plans will be realized, then, on the estimations of experts, the stations able to produce to 6 milliards of «green» in a year.

DTEK intends to start the First «Wind farm» through two years. Wind power-stations in Novoazovsk (Donetsk area) fully can become its basis.

There works a skilled personnel, which will be able to realize a project. But the equipment of the station in Novoazovsk is ramshackle and requires modernization.

Introductions of anti-dumping duties, the size of which will make from 23 euros a to 41 euros for one hundred kilograms, was approved by 27 countries-members of union and will go into effect from July, 12 for a term of five years.
